A whole host in with a chance here and the tentative vote goes to RASAMAN from stall one, with Toms Laughter and Mambo Spirit rated as the main dangers. The selection has the pace to take advantage of what looks a plum draw next to the rail. He comes here chasing a hat-trick after wins at Hamilton and Beverley. Whilst this track is a different kettle of fish, he looks to be getting the hang of the game and he can get owner Roy 'Chubby' Brown back into the winner's enclosure again. Millfields Dreams comes here in good form, whilst Dandy Nicholls has his sprinters running well and both of his runners come here on recent wins. Of the two, Mandurah could be the pick but there is probably little to choose between them. Merlin's Dancer has been in consistent form this season, comments that also apply to Total Impact and old-timer Digital. Toms Laughter sprang a surprise a few days ago in the Hong Kong Sprint and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop him if in the same frame of mind today - the blinkers remain on today. Course and distance winners Ocean Blaze and Hereford Boy add some more intrigue to the race, however the pin comes down on the hat-trick seeking Rasaman.
