        In depth

        Verdict

A wide open renewal of this Group 2 contest in which many would have chances on their best form, but Polar Way is taken to score at the main expense of Kheleyf and Suggestive. The selection won in impressive fashion last time out when defeating Desert Destiny. He won in the style of an improver that day and he should be able to take the step up in grade in his stride here. Kheleyf rates the main danger as he was unsuited by the soft ground when well beaten behind Whipper in France last time. However, with the drop back to his best trip and this faster surface sure to play to his strengths he has to be respected. Suggestive has the ability to go close but does not always ordain to use it and he was very disappointing under his optimum conditions when well beaten behind Royal Storm at Newbury last time. Royal Storm would have a chance on the back of that effort, but he has since run a shocker at Ascot and for that reason he is passed over. So Will I is from the Marcus Tregoning yard who have started to fire in the last few days, so he could be of interest, but for the winner we return to Polar Way.
