Verdict
The brilliant 1000 Guineas and Oaks winner MINDING is impossible to oppose and this should be Group 1 number five. Aidan O'Brien's filly, whose surprise defeat in the 1000 Guineas at the Curragh was her only blip, was taking on older horses for the first time in the Pretty Polly at the Curragh but once again her blistering pace quickly took her clear. Jemayel won a Group 1 at Deauville in May but didn't get the run of the race in the French Oaks on soft ground at Chantilly and is better than that. She finished just behind Swiss Range in that latter event and looks capable of reversing the places with John Gosden's filly. Queen's Trust looked suited by further when staying on over 1m4f in the Ribblesdale and the four-year-old Group 2 Middleton Stakes winner Beautiful Romance may also find a couple of these too quick after a good run in the Hardwicke.
