Mark Johnston has won this four times in nine years, including the last two. Resonant and Triple Dip represent the yard this time and the former, who won a lucrative Newmarket handicap before being beaten in a two-horse race there, looks marginally better than the latter over this trip. Gibeon finished runner-up in that former event but looks held but Keble came from a long way behind at Windsor after landing a maiden over the course and distance so should get involved. MUSTARD is another who finished strongly when runner-up to River Dart at Ascot and probably should have won. The assessor certainly thinks so as he's hit him with a 6lb rise but Sir Michael Stoute's colt was having only his fifth start and can gain compensation. Shaakis failed to fire the only time he was tried at this trip, though that was at Epsom which often doesn't suit. Awesome Power ran a shocker at Newmarket last time after looking very progressive.
