    Verdict

Not much form to go on in this maiden and while Godolphin's Marine Spirit should go well on debut we'll side with RAKAAN; State Fair looks the best of the rest. The selection is bred for speed and already has a run under his belt. That debut was promising after showing signs of greenness early on and with his pedigree also high class and suggesting success as a two-year-old he should go even better after that run in the bank. Marine Spirit, as you'd expect, is well bred related to a plenty of winners in Germany. The yard are in good form at the moment so you wouldn't rule out a big run although he may want the outing. Paul Cole's State Fair improved from his debut run to grab a runners up spot last time out but he looks to have limitations that the previous duo mentioned don't. Fremont and Red Badge have enough in their pedigrees to success encouraging debuts could be made but with some experience already we like Rakaan.
