Another three-year-old handicap that is not easy to weigh up. Ballybunion has been disappointing since winning twice as a juvenile but now steps up in trip. However, the wide draw is not ideal. Halland Park Lad, twice a winner last year, is weighted to run well but has failed to sparkle so far this year. He's a winner on good to soft. Eastborough is capable of running well off his current mark and will also handle the ground. Typhoon Todd cost 45,000gns and could fare better in handicaps although the stronger of the two Richard Hannon runners looks to be Climate, who is consistent and should run well. Castle River was raised eight pounds for scrambling home at Beverley but has subsequently been dropped four.
