KING'S WONDER's form at the track gives him an edge and he is preferred to Mujood, Makaamen, Saucy Brown and Purissima. William Muir has a strong team for Glorious Goodwood and this progressive son of King's Best is improving quickly. He started off the season with a comprehensive win at the track and whilst this will be a lot tougher, he should give a bold show with the ground likely to be ideal. Mister Hardy was hit by the handicapper for a hat-trick of wins in the Spring and this race looks a better option than handicaps, a comment that also applies to Something who was eased to a walk at York on Saturday. Spanish Bounty, Clifton Dancer and Moynahan all have something to prove over this trip, so of more interest may be the bottom-weight Purissima. She impressed on her debut at Warwick before running with credit when well-fancied for the Rockfel Stakes in October. She needs to show that she has trained on but must be an interesting contender. Saucy Brown has some solid handicap form to his name, along with Proclaim who steps up in trip today. More interesting is Makaamen who was bogged down at Haydock last time in heavy ground but on his previous Newbury and Doncaster wins he looks one to keep on the right side of. Top-weight Axiom went close at Sandown on his reappearance and Frankie Dettori looks a good jockey booking, however we are happy to stick with King's Wonder as the selection.
