El Astronaute won this in 2017 and was runner-up 12 months later. He won off a 3lb higher mark at The Curragh in 2019 when last running in a handicap and another big run is anticipated. Only Spoofing was successful last season when trained by Jedd O’Keeffe. He’s been showing good form for Kevin Coleman this term, winning at Navan in May, but is 6lb higher than last year. Lord Riddiford and Recon Mission weren’t far behind the Irish raider in the Epsom Dash last month and neither had a clear run. Cheekpieces are applied to the latter here while the consistent King Of Stars and Rewaayat will also have their supporters in a wide-open sprint but we’ll take a chance on ZARGUN, who is weighted to reverse York running with Sunday Sovereign and will enjoy conditions.
