      Verdict

      The Hannon stable won this four times in a row between 2010 and 2013 and July Stakes winner Lusail has been successful in three of his four outings to date, though his only defeat came over Pontefract’s stiff 6f on soft going. On a line through Eldrickjones, Coventry Stakes winner Berkshire Shadow may need to improve and he is held up in his races so may not be suited by this sharp track. THE ACROPOLIS has five lengths to find with the latter on Royal Ascot form but Aidan O’Brien has a good recent record in this contest and the son of Churchill should get much closer today on the changed going and with a pull in the weights.
