      Verdict

Smart Enough and Danski are the principals in this small field and they can dominate with Smart Enough perhaps proving a cut above. Mick Channon's Paraguay will be a decent price here, and made his bow at Chantilly a month ago, shaping with promise. He tackles two useful rivals here however, and a place may be the best he can hope for. Danski was unfancied for his Newmarket debut last season but ran a blinder, not beaten far, and followed up that effort with a good third, beaten just over a length at Kempton recently. He was staying on at the finish that day, and perhaps a bit further than this one mile trip would suit. Smart Enough was handed a stiif Newmarket maiden for his debut last backend, showing considerable promise as he was beaten only three lengths. He was well backed for his return, also at Headquarters, staying on well to be second to Bold Alaska. He is clearly progressive, by Cadeaux Genereux will clearly like the ground, and Smart Enough can prove just that.
