A decent conditions race with some quality performers on show not least of which is Lady McNair. Peter Cundell's filly took advantage of the race conditions to beat three rivals, including the useful Rainwashed Gold, to complete a four-timer at Sandown last time. In her current form the daughter of Sheikh Albadou obviously warrants respect but she will probably find this tougher. Mick Channon's Naahy has some decent form to his name but was disappointing behind Rimrod at Salisbury last time and is more exposed than most. After a string of seconds, Nick Littmoden's Four Jays came good when successful at Warwick earlier in the month. He should again be thereabouts. Southwell maiden winner Binanti does not seem to be as good on turf judged by his defeat behind Al Jadeed at Sandown last time and the TEAMtalk selection goes to Goodwood Prince. John Dunlop's two-year-olds are really finding their form now as this son of Emperor Jones showed when a ready three length winner at Brighton on his most recent start. Although that was over five furlongs there is no reason why the seven-furlong trip should not pose a problem and he gets the vote.
