VIRGINIA PLANE was caught by Four Adaay on the line at Lingfield when dead-heating for first. But John Quinn’s charge has winning form on soft ground on Turf and is fancied to return the outright winner on this occasion. Batraan has been withdrawn at the start at Ripon since beating Faustus at Nottingham last month though it was soft going when Hotalena scored at Thirsk recently and she’s 4lb higher.
