A high class renewal of this Listed race which will delight the course and the sponsors but it doesn't make the winner easy to find. A third of the field have yet to race this season which further muddies the waters and Michita wouldn't be a confident selection. We are siding with her, in part, due to the performance of Queen Of Naples in the Cheshire Oaks where she was beaten under 4 lengths behind Sail. Jimmy Fortune jumps ship to partner the daughter of Dynaformer today and that looks significant as does the fact that she's one of only two fillies in the race with an Epsom Oaks entry. The form of her Yarmouth maiden win has been given a couple of boosts in recent days whilst she's expected to improve for her first encounter with decent ground on the racecourse and she should be sent off at a decent price. She was behind Don't Forget Faith and Annie Skates in the Fred Darling, this race was earmarked for Rosaleen after her win at Ascot whilst Jazz Jam won well at Kempton. The other three have yet to run but Rosa Grace still has an Epsom entry and wasn't beaten far in the Rockfel on her final start, Celtic Slipper is a Group 3 winner who won her maiden here but Really Ransom has plenty to find on the form that she showed when winning a nursery for John Oxx last October. An intriguing race in prospect which could see Michita put herself into the picture for the Oaks.
