A difficult apprentice handicap to finish the card and a sporting vote is given to Goodwood March, with Salviati and King Egbert also worthy of respect. The selection is trying this trip for the first time but the way she ran last time suggests it could be a good move. She led two furlongs out over six at Bath last time before being collared close home by Tilsworth Charlie. Similar tactics today could see her end up in the winners enclosure. Salviati is one of three Milton Bradley runners and will possibly be the largest price. However he has dropped an incredible twenty pounds since this time last year so is now on a very favourable mark and has already gone close on a few occasions this season. King Egbert is one of the more consisent runners in the line up and although beaten by today's rival Stamford Blue recently he does have a nice pull in the weights. This is not a race for big stakes as Zazous and Dancing Mystery are two others in with a shout, but Goodwood March has as good a chance as any and she gets a narrow vote.
