The Godolphin runners are a bit hit and miiss at present but there is no getting away from the chances of Imperial Stride who is taken to beat Nakheel and Take A Bow. The former Sir Michael Stoute inmate was acquired by the boys in blue following an impressive victory in the September Stakes at Newmarket. He had progressed throughout last season and if he is fit for his return he will take some beating. Take A Bow wasn't beaten far behind two Godolphin runners earlier this month and although he has plenty to find on official ratings he should still be involved in the finish. Nakheel is one that has plenty of scope for improvement. He won both his juvenile contests in great style and looked in need of the outing when well beaten at York recently. We may see a much better performance this afternoon. Impeller, although a seven-year-old, still retains plenty of ability and looks the pick of the others, but if on song Imerial Stride should win this before moving back into group company.
