William's Way, Buster Hyvonen and Malakiya are among those to catch the eye and we shall side with William's Way. Ian Wood's charge was unfortunate to run up against McNairobi at Lingfield last month but put that experience to good use to see off Della Salute by a neck at Windsor. He stays further than the trip and if this develops into a test of stamina, there are clearly more positives on the card than most. Buster Hyvonen is a maiden on turf but was not disgraced behind Our Teddy on his most recent assignment. He has it to prove with loose conditions underfoot and could be worth taking on at the likely odds. Malakiya ran on well at Beverley after being held up in the initial stages of the contest, there is sure to be a race for the well-bred individual but the stable are not in the greatest of form. Truly Fruitful has risen significantly in the weights since his Pontefract "win". Connections would not like the rain. Garston Star has had training troubles but ran well in a recent ladies handicap and should not be inconvenienced by any overnight rain. The ground will play its part and we will chance that William's Way has all the right attributes to cope with the conditions.
