A trappy opener in which Double M is taken to continue his recent good form at the expense of Millfields Dreams and Polar Impact. Double M landed some nice bets on his previous start at Lingfield and its fair to say that the win was not out of turn as he had been knocking on the door for quite some time. He is due to go up in the handicap so connections are attempting to strike before the handicapper has his turn. A comment that equally applies to Roy Brotherton's Millfields Dreams. Millfields Dreams is set to go up a whopping 13lbs for a victory at Chepstow in a maiden handicap. That followed a long absence so connections will be hoping for an avoidance of the dreaded bounce factor. Polar Impact is dropped in class vis-a-vis his previous efforts in this country. His recent victories were gained in Spain when under the patronage of Alan Berry and with Gary Moore in form, he should be watched in the market. Milton Bradley typically is mob handed in this event and while Juwwi would be a popular winner, its not unfair to suggest that he was greatly flattered by his proximity to Foley Millennium in a recent seller. Somerset West took advantage of a drop into banded stakes company earlier in the season but has shown little of note since. Threezedzz has a useful Irish claimer aboard although the horse is yet to win since 2000. A modest race in which Double M has the positive of being in form.
