All nine runners can be given a squeak but for the winner, LENNY BEE makes most appeal with Requisite and Our Piccadilly others to make the shortlist. David Brown has campaigned his sprinters with an expert hand this season and the grey won well at Newmarket on his latest start. On that evidence, a 6lb penalty should not stop him from following up. Requisite is something of an imponderable on the surface. That said, she has been a consistent filly without necessarily winning. Our Piccadilly is a course and distance scorer. She is much better than that recent Chepstow effort suggests. Cape Royal needs little introduction to followers of the sprinting game. He is tough as teak and made all to take a recent event at Windsor. Efistorm plugged on at Doncaster earlier in the week to finish a never better than fifth in a similar event. Jimmy Ryan was entitled to need his first run after a sizeable absence. Rod Millman's runners have been in and out throughout the campaign but Ocean Blaze, who is 10lb lower in the handicap than last year, would be of interest if the market speaks in favour of the mare. A lack of numbers does not equal an easier contest for punters to solve though Lenny Bee makes most appeal to us.
