C&D winner SALIENT looks interesting having rediscovered some sharpness when a good third at Sandown on Friday. Paramour, an obvious improver, rates a huge danger for the thriving O'Meara team, having followed up a convincing Pontefract success with a better effort in decent Newmarket handicap company under similar conditions, though Salient is just preferred in receipt of a stone. Sweet Child O'Mine comes here instead of Doncaster yesterday and should be in the shake-up despite a 4lb rise for a decisive Redcar success.
