Richard Hannon, as is so often the case in juvenile contests, is strongly represented with Freddy Q and Gold Sceptre going to post. The latter looks the stronger of the pair on the basis of promising performances in decent Newbury maidens and seems to have been allocated an acceptable mark for this handicap bow. However, similar comments apply to BLANK CZECH, inched out by the gallant Stateos at Epsom last time after looking sure to win. Amanda Perrett's charge can go one better here. Tip Top Gorgeous looks to have been given a tough task against southern counterparts off topweight but is consistent, resilient and far from discounted, whilst it would not surprise to see improvement from Dollar Bill and Vociferous.

Freddy Q (IRE) 11-4 (9-0) Tracked leaders, ridden to challenge well over 1f out, kept on under pressure, not pace of winner, 2nd of 3, 1 1/4l behind Ghost Protocol (9-3) at Epsom Downs 7f 2yo mdn aut (5) gd in Aug.
