In this maiden, we will side with Minos ahead of Murrin and Ajhar. Ones that catch the eye based on breeding are Ajhar and Hatton Flight, so watch the betting. The best form on offer appears to come from Minos, who was a fair second in a similar event at Chester last time, a run that showed he can handle a track that requires balance. Kalasam, who made eyecatching late headway at Warwick last time despite running green, and Murrin, who made late headway at Sandown on his debut behind Big Robert (who runs earlier on the card), are others to consider, but the vote stays with Minos.
