Hogmaneigh has gone up another 8lbs for his win over Sandown's stiff five furlongs last time but that looks perfectly fair and, with this trip looking to be ideal, the Stuart Williams-trained three-year-old gets the vote to win again with the main dangers looking to be Bond City and Pivotal's Princess. The last mentioned has been running consistently well of late without winning and is entitled to be thereabouts again but may, once more, have to settle for a minor role. The Jobber would want the ground to quicken up, while Fantasy Believer may now be a shade high in the weights. David Nicholls always has to be respected in big sprint handicaps and Lafi may well be the pick of his quartet. The consistent Woodcote and in-form Cape Royal are others that have to be considered although of more interest may be recent Epsom winner Bond City, who has the assistance of Frankie Dettori. Hogmaneigh can do little wrong at present though and is taken to continue his winning ways.
