Pegasus Again is 3lbs higher than when scoring last time and may struggle to see off ZOWINGTON, who is our selection in this contest. The Stuart Williams-trained pick steps up to 7f here and that in itself gives him room for improvement, coming from stock who acted well over this trip. Decent ground suits, and a 1lb drop since going close last time can only help his cause, so we'll side with him. Pegasus Again was all out to just hang on over a mile at Windsor and while he remains effective over this distance he often finds one too good and he needs his best performance for some time to prevail. Cape Hawk won from a mark 5lbs higher than today's last summer, but he hasn't been quite up to that in 2009 and was beaten from this peg last time so we'll take him on, while Tuxedo has conditions and trip to his liking but needs a career best effort to win, and that appears unlikely. White Deer has made a long journey south for this and is dropping back towards a winning mark so he could be dangerous and a market check is advised. Little else appeals and Zowington can score.
