A mile and fast ground suits DINGAAN, who is selected to land this handicap from Sarah Park and Effigy. The selection represents a yard in good form, has winning course form here, and loves to hear his hooves rattle. He was beaten from this mark last time but has won from higher ratings in the past and given that he is in consistently good form this season we will take him to come good again. Sarah Park will be popular with punters after landing a 9f Epsom handicap last time. A 5lb rise means that Brian Meehan's filly has to produce a career best to follow up but she can go very close. Effigy is used to being thereabouts without winning, having made the frame in all of his last seven starts. He will relish any rain and races over his optimum trip, so should again be in for some prize money. Spring Adventure was very competitive from this mark last time and there is no reason why she cannot be again with Fallon up, while trip and ground suit Avertis, who has won when fresh and is worth a market check. Dingaan is taken to score.
