With Custody having appeared reluctant on more than one occasion we will take him on here with COUNT OF TUSCANY, while Charger should go well. The Amanda Perrett-trained selection was a long way behind the winner when second at Newmarket last time over 12f, patently not getting home over that trip. The drop back to this distance will suit, as will the going, and with no problems over his attitude and lots of room for improvement we'll side with him. Custody has been bridesmaid on four occasions in maidens and was not far away when stepped up markedly in trip to 11f last time at Warwick. A variety of headgear has already been tried without success and he looks well worth taking on again. Jeremy Noseda saddles Charger, who was a shade disappointing when going off favourite at Newmarket last time out and although he has potential he does have a bit to prove now. Day Of The Eagle showed improvement for his Thirsk debut when tried at Salisbury over this trip and also looks capable of making his presence felt, but Count Of Tuscany can take it.
