The three-year-old Mister Manduro only found one too good when tried over this trip at Ascot in July but efforts either side of that left much to be desired. Arthur Mc Bride was only beaten a neck over 2m at Chester last time having finished third over 2m5f here earlier. He will be hard to keep out of the frame again but will have to turn form around with AURORA GREY on only 3lb better terms. Hughie Morrison’s four-year-old is very reliable and, though she’s been climbing the weights without winning, looks the one to beat. Fleeting Visit has done little wrong in recent starts and has more options now he’s proved he stays this far but Arty Campbell struggles to get his head in front. Corpus Chorister was behind Fleeting Visit and Percy Veer at Kempton last month.
