      Verdict

      Following a decent first run at Salisbury, ANCIENT LONGING was in touch for a long way on her second start at Newbury. This looks a lot easier and Roger Charlton’s filly might appreciate the quicker going. She’s just preferred to Fearsome, who has been placed in both starts so far but hasn’t really threatened the winner. Hats Off To Larry has every chance on his two runs to date over this trip but Red Royalist is now starting to look exposed. Dance Rock has been placed in a couple of hurdles recently but was well beaten on his only previous run on the Flat.
