        Verdict

        This may prove to be an above-average maiden have several have shown some promise and there are a few newcomers with fancy entries. Mt Augustus is a likely improver and so is Knightly Spirit. Great Vizier and Ship Of The Fen are a bit more exposed but can’t be left out of calculations. A Derby entry, Silver Crescent is a full brother to one winner and a half-brother to six others but may do better as a three-year-old. SHOWROOM and Highland Sky both hold entries in the Royal Lodge and are likely to be ready for this. The former represents a yard that often unleashes its best juveniles here and he could be a shrewd acquisition by Highclere.
