All form lines point to this going to STEELER, a C&D maiden winner before beaten less than a length by the promising Dundonnell in the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York. Luhaif produced a tremendous performance to get within a length of Olympic Glory in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes over the C&D but ran poorly when last of four at Newmarket subsequently. Tamayuz Star wasn't particularly fancied on his debut at Leicester but did better than expected to beat Flow in a driving finish and improvement is virtually guaranteed but stable jockey Richard Hughes has elected to ride Haydock debut winner Professor, who disappointed when last of four there later but wasn't amenable to restraint and is much better than he showed.
