Corridor Creeper gets our vote here from Stolt and Woodcote. The selection is in the veteran stages of his career and has gone a long time without a win but his mark has dropped accordingly and he ran well enough at Windsor on his latest start to suggest that a return to winning ways was near. He handles cut in the ground and handles this track and is taken to record an eleventh career win. This sharp five furlongs should suit Stolt who won a shade cosily at Thirsk; he's 6lbs higher in the weights but isn't too badly treated on his juvenile form and could still be improving. Woodcote isn't straightforward but he has run well here in the past and looks capable of running a big race now that he has got a run under his belt. Lord Of The Reins is out of the weights and has a bit to prove back on grass but comes into the race in search of a hat-trick. A typically competitive sprint handicap which we hope can go to Corridor Creeper.
