    Verdict

Linda Green has been running much better than the numbers afer her name suggest and she gets the verdict ahead of Our Faye and Ivory Lace. Mick Channon's charge was successful off a mark of 70 when beating subsequent winner Matteroffcat at Bath. She wasn't beaten far last time out off her current rating and this does appear to be a weaker contest. The ground will not be a problema nd we expect a decent run under Hugh Bowman. Ivory Lace comes here in good heart, chasing a hat-trick following victories here and at Lingfield. Both wins however were gained on fast ground so any more rain would be a negative. Our Faye returned to action with a victory in a modest affair at Salisbury and although this could be harder, she is open to improvement. Miss Jenny has claims on last season's form as does Towy Girl, however Linda Green is one that will not mind the conditions and she is selected.
