A small field for this maiden and Purple Emperor looks the obvious winner, Zifaaf and Hot Property can chase him home. The Godolphin runner has put in two good efforts in defeat, finishing runner up to two decent type in Walking Talking and Tranquil Tiger. Tonight's opponents look nothing special and this expensive purchase should lose his maiden tag. Zifaaf is a consistent sort and has earned a rating of 76. If she handles this slower ground she should be the main threat to the selection. Hot Property improved on his debut effort to finish fourth in a decent Salisbury maiden. He has only raced on fast ground so far but is bred to appreciate cut and we may see an better performance again. The two other runners look up against it and so we return to Purple Emperor as the most likely winner.
