Verdict
Ancient Days finished almost a distance clear of the remainder when an eight-length second to Hansupfordetroit over 2m4f at Ballinrobe and though the winner has been well beaten subsequently it was in a Grade 3. Silver Shuffle has had 11 starts over timber without winning but he's run well on several occasions and has been in decent form on the Flat. Kilavalley made a promising start over hurdles in March and hasn't been beaten far in two strong bumpers subsequently. He has to be on the short-list but SAM DA VINCI gets the vote. Tony Mullins' charge finished runner-up to the highly-regarded Teelin Star in a Listowel bumper last month and Klepht, who a further 15 lengths behind in third, won over hurdles on Saturday.
