Verdict

This has been a race for fancied winners as the majority have been in the first two in the betting. COOPER'S CREST may well start favourite here though she wasn't entirely convincing when long odds-on at Limerick last time. Sabrina Harty's mare wasn't suited by the softish ground that day and providing the rains stay away she can take this much more competitive race in her stride. Bacher Boy has won good races at Gowran and Bellewstown recently and this is his ideal trip. He looks certain to get involved though the 5lbs he concedes to the mare may just be beyond him. Vivaldi won a nice race at Ballinrobe last time and that puts him in the frame for this while Aughwilliam Lady found three miles too far at Kilbeggan last time after an impressive performance over this trip at Clonmel.
