Nebo had dropped to his lowest-ever mark when turning a Cork handicap into a procession earlier this month and has been hit with a 9lb rise. Njord has gone well around here on several occasions including when scoring over the trip on testing ground in October. He's up 10lb for last month's Curragh success but appears to be improving. Shane Foley, who rode him that day, sides with TAURAN SHAMAN (NAP) here and his mount finished very strongly in Nemo's race at Cork. He won a course and distance handicap a year ago and has had just six starts so gets the vote in a wide-open handicap. Big Baby Bull is another very progressive type having landed a similar handicap at the Curragh in impressive style, though a 10lb rise makes this much tougher and runner-up Current Option should get closer on the revised terms. Saltonstall won this a year ago and has competed at a high level subsequently so is no forlorn hope to go in again.
