In depth

Verdict

Flying Scotsman was engaged in the 7.15 here last night. Frank Arthur beat Mostaqqer, who runs earlier, at Roscommon before a fine run behind Fame And Acclaim in a Curragh handicap where Mythologic was just behind. Both ran well and stayed on so the slightly longer trip won't be a problem. However, MEANINGFUL VOTE had beaten Fame And Acclaim at Naas earlier and, though 12lb higher, his rider's claim will help - he's progressing at a rate of knots. Comfort Line will need to step up from landing a Limerick maiden while stable companion In From The Cold is held on his latest run at the Curragh. Layfayette was staying on nicely behind Fame And Acclaim at Cork and comes into the reckoning in a tight-looking handicap.
