Swantykay scored over 2m2f at Downpatrick and went to Ballinrobe last week with a favourite's chance but just lacked the pace over the minimum trip so he may find this on the sharp side. ARTFUL ARTIST ran well in his first two starts over timber last year and will have needed the run on his comeback in April. He's since won twice on the Flat and that progress can be transferred to hurdling where he makes his handicap debut. Tony Martin's charge gets the vote though there are numerous dangers including Dun Scaith, who has been finding 2m4f too far and will be suited by a strong pace over the minimum trip.
