In depth

Verdict

Lake George is the only one of these to have won over this specialist trip which he did at Limerick. He's an incredible 22lb higher here after landing a tough 6f handicap at the Curragh but is improving fast and should be in the shake-up. Flavia Tatiana has been fading badly over much further and is still a maiden after a dozen start as is the consistent Extra Steps while Acoustic Cheer hasn't shown much in three starts over longer trips though first-time blinkers may wake her up. Alpha And Omega has shown improved form over this trip recently and is likely to go well but this can go to BURN THE FLOOR. Jim Bolger's filly was having her first start for three months when a close third to Adams Return on soft ground at Leopardstown on Thursday and a combination of extra sharpness and better ground can enable her to lose her maiden tag on only her fifth start.
