The four-year-old Star Maker stepped up to 2m3f at Downpatrick and outstayed Kellyiscool, who runs in the previous race. Chateauneuf Du Pap won twice earlier this year though both victories were on heavy ground so he needs some rain. Westerner Point is much better known as a chaser but has won three times over hurdles and is on a 17lb lower mark. Hearts Are Trumps has run very well in his two starts since scoring at Clonmel in May and looks a threat to all but INGLEBY MACKENZIE (NAP) can get back on the winning trail. Still only four, he's won four times since June, including a victory on the Flat, and looked like making it number five when taking the lead at Clonmel but found the 2m3f just stretching his stamina and was mugged on the line by Glamorous Nellie, who was receiving 34lb.
