Verdict

A competitive bumper to bring the seven-day Festival to a close and once again it's Dermot Weld to send his supporters home with a smile via WINDSOR PARK. He looked a very smart prospect when slamming his rivals at Leopardstown in January and has been saved for this. The 3lb he gets from dual winner Totally Dominant can prove decisive though the latter looks a real threat and holds Itchymei'Mscratch on their 1-2 at Bellewstown. Carnaross travels over from the UK after a shock victory at Stratford but it will be a surprise if he's good enough while both Myles Ahead and the Roscommon winner Pack The Punch will need to improve though both are entitled to do so.
