Pacific Heights ran a fine race behind Heavy Metal at Ascot last weekend and Brian Ellison wouldn't be bringing him here unless expected to go well though the stable's main hope is probably Baraweez. He ran well behind Vastonea here on Tuesday though that was over a mile and this could just prove on the short side. Jack's Revenge, who finished fifth, could never get in a blow but Hidden Oasis is one to keep an eye on as he was having his first start since November when a close fourth at Fairyhouse in June. Fastidious is going well and this is his optimum trip but this looks another for Dermot Weld. He won it last year with Northern Rocked, who Leigh Roche rides here, but Pat Smullen is on board SPARKLE FACTOR which is hardly surprising given that she was beaten less than 2l in a Killarney Listed contest last month, form that looks good enough for this.
