In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins has four entries including Exchange Rate, who started a short-priced favourite here on Monday who only got as far as the first. Causey Arch overcame mistakes to score at Roscommon and has much more to offer as does Calie Du Mesnil, who beat a big field of maidens at Tipperary on his debut for the yard. Sapphire Lady steps up in trip after beating subsequent winner Timetoget over the minimum at Listowel. Boot Camp, a Down Royal maiden winner, couldn't quite hold off Amschel over this trip at Roscommon but Awbeg Prince looked ideally suited to the distance when scooting up at Ballinrobe. MINELLA TIMES has more to do than when landing a KIlbeggan maiden over the minimum but looks certain to appreciate stepping up and he gets the vote. Awayinthewest has had a couple of decent runs since landing a competitive Ballinrobe handicap in May.
