Tony McCoy can partner yet another winner here on board FAIR DUAL, while Nod's Star probably won't be far away. Fair Dual is no stranger to the winner's enclosure, having won handicap hurdles at Folkestone and Lingfield last winter. After a failed chasing attempt here he went pretty well back in a selling handicap like this one last time out and he is clearly in good shape. Trip and ground won't be a problem and he can score. Nod's Star comes here after a two month break and he has plenty of stamina to call upon in the context of this race. Fast ground and a trip really suits Jim Best's charge, although he tends to need a run after a break so we will just oppose. Lurid Affair would have claims if she could reproduce his running from Worcester in July, but two subsequent runs have left her with plenty to prove. Trackattack has frame claims if at his best with conditions to suit, though his mark looks high enough, while Floodlight Fantasy was winning earlier in the year but is another who would like a favour from the handicapper at present and we'll take Fair Dual to score.
