Kroisos might provide the answer here ahead of, possibly, Walcot Lad and Flinders. The selection runs quickly here following a resounding win at Plumpton and we feel that it might pay to strike while the iron is hot. Course and distance winner Cold Encounter, and course winner Ice Cool Lad are others that can go well, although each of them has never won from their current rating, but Flinders is now back to near a winning mark. That last comment also applies to Walcot Lad, who has the added advantage of having won at Fontwell. Kildorragh would have a very good chance based on his 2001 form, but that seems a long time ago now. Quite a competitive race overall, and one in which we will side with Kroisos.
