In depth

Verdict

Cody Wyoming beat Jarlath seven lengths over track and trip earlier this month but has never recorded back-to-back victories nor won off a mark this high. NATIVE ROBIN (NAP) clearly needed the run when tailed off behind Jarlath at Warwick in November and was more like his old self at that track last month. That form has worked out really well with the third, fourth and fifth all winning since. Bramble Brook was winning for the first time in 16 starts at Plumpton but nearly always attracts market interest and shouldn’t be ignored. Darebin ran as if ready for a break last time at Ascot.
