With the Pipe yard back amongst the winners we have to side here with Yes My Lord, Portavo and Barranco could provide most danger. This six-year-old had just three outings last season and improved with each race. This is his first venture into handicap company and he doesn't look over burdened in a modest contest. Portavo was a faller last time but had previously shown plenty of promise when fourth behind Air Guitar at Ludlow. If none the worse for that tumble he should be in the shake up. Barranco is trained by Gary Moore who always has to be respected at this track. He was a little bit one paced at Doncaster last time but gets in here with a nice racing weight and may improve for the step up in trip. All in all this will not take too much winning and Yes My Lord could be up to the task.
