In depth

Verdict

A modest race overall, in which Glasker Mill stands out. Walter and Mooresini might prove best of the others. Glasker Mill's third to the decent Mister Quasimodo at Chepstow last time stands out here and he is hard to oppose on that basis. Walter showed some promise last season and looks set to be suited by this type of trip this year, while Mooresini has shown enough to be considered from a canny yard and Galandora is a two-mile Flat winner from May 2004, but he didn't show much on his hurdling debut. Finally, Good Sort cost 31,000 euros so must have something likeable about him, Sir Rembrandt's half-brother Lord Leonardo is one that catches the eye on breeding, and Persian Genie's Flat form of September 2004 would bring her into a modest heat, but it is hard to get away from the selection, Glasker Mill.
