        Verdict

Shaman, Wenger and Maximinus are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote is given to Shaman. The selection was a good second behind Misbehaviour. That horse has since ran well in a much better race and off the same mark here he looks the value bet in an open affair. Wenger rates the main danger on his latest third behind Elway Prospect but he has had plenty of similar chances of late without taking one and at likely odds he again looks worth taking on. Maximinus is another worthy of respect now that he returns to a more suitable trip having appeared not to stay last time. Kandjar d'Allier has been running quite well of late over fences. This looks easier and despite top weight he should be noted in the market.Of the remainder Park City won well last time but this looks tougher and he may struggle under his penalty and for the winner we return to Shaman.
