In depth
Verdict
A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given chances on there best form but the principals look to be Idris, Mars Rock and Royal Stardust and the vote is given to Idris. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but was a good second behind Manners. This looks easier and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Mars Rock rates the main danger as he was a fair second behind Anemix but that form has since been let down and for that reason he is opposed. Royal Stardust is another that could go well as he was a fair sixth behind Ballyandi last time. This faster ground will suit and he should be noted in the market.Buy Onling has shown a modicum of ability in two runs to date but he may be seen to better effect once handicapped. Of the remainder Crenich has nothing so far but is from a shrewd yard and is another that could improve for this faster surface but Idris sets a fair standard and he is our idea of the winner.
