Spider Boy has been in great heart of late and is taken to land his hat-trick at the expense of Mr Boo and Felinious. The selection has been in winning from here and at Plumpton recently. He won off a ten pound higher mark on his latest win and is now a further four pounds higher since. This does not look an unrealistic task as although at the age of eleven he runs off a career high mark he did win nicely last time and we feel he is capable of finding more here. Mr Boo carries top weight which will make life tough. He was slightly disappointing at Ascot last time out over fences but if judged on his fine winning performance at Folkestone the time before he is a serious contender. The fact that he is twenty pounds better off over hurdles is also in his favour so any market support should be noted. Felinious racked up a hat-trick in the autumn and ran with credit at Ludlow on his reappearance run. Again it remains to be seen how well treated he is but with the stable having winners at present is has to be on the short list. But for the winner we return to Spider Boy.
